When is the best time to plant daylilies?
Answer: Either in the spring or late summer to early fall is the best time, but daylilies are practically indestructable and should do well planted at any time during the growing season. In the north, waiting until late September can be questionable because their roots may not have enough time to become established before the ground freezes. Are daylilies ever bothered by the red lilybugs?
Answer: No, Never! Fortunately for us daylily lovers, those nasty red bugs just have no taste.
